European Union and Argentina Hold Joint Committee Talks After Mercosur Trade Agreement Activation
European Union diplomats and Argentine officials convened in Buenos Aires for the 14th Joint Committee meeting following the provisional activation of the EU–Mercosur trade agreement. European representatives praised Argentina as the first member of the bloc to formally advance the treaty, while discussions focused on expanding cooperation in defense, space exploration, and critical mineral supply chains.
