State energy company YPF has approved a partnership with Transportadora de Gas del Sur to build a $3 billion natural gas liquids processing and export terminal tied to production from the Vaca Muerta basin. The project is expected to industrialize shale gas output in Neuquén and generate more than $1.2 billion in annual export revenues once operational. It marks one of the most significant midstream infrastructure expansions linked to Argentina’s energy sector transformation.
