The federal government has finalized a multi-year concession agreement with a European-led maritime consortium to deepen and maintain the strategic Paraná River waterway. The infrastructure upgrade will allow larger bulk carrier ships to access the inland ports of Santa Fe, significantly reducing logistics costs for Argentine soybean and corn shipments bound for Asian markets.
