The Argentine Ministry of Tourism reports that inbound international travel spending has reached historic highs across the Mendoza wine region and southern Patagonia. The stabilization of the national currency and the elimination of parallel exchange rates have successfully channeled billions of dollars in foreign tourist spending back into the formal banking system.
