Rio Tinto Activates 1.4 Billion United States Dollar Lithium Mega-Project in the Argentine Northwest

Global mining giant Rio Tinto has inaugurated a 1.4 billion United States dollar lithium extraction facility in Argentina and approved an additional 144 million dollars for immediate expansion. The massive capital injection accelerates the national trajectory to overtake neighboring Chile in total global lithium carbonate production before the end of the decade.
