Argentine state-controlled energy firm YPF and a consortium of international companies authorized the final investment decision to construct a massive liquefied natural gas facility in the province of Río Negro, a critical infrastructure project enabling the Vaca Muerta shale formation to supply European and Asian markets by the end of the decade.
